Other People’s Memories

Other People’s Memories looks at the relationship between society and the photographic print. Since the digital imaging revolution, most of the tangible aspects of photography have been lost, including the family photo album and the prints contained within.

In an almost ironic manner, Other People’s Memories uses digital photographs itself to highlight these changes and aims to not only bring a small portion of photography back from the intangible computer screen and onto paper once more, but also to hopefully help save a small percentage of personal photographs from being sold to strangers online.

The photograph must be printed, so that it can be inscribed and then treasured for a lifetime.
