Insignificant Moments of Significance

“The photographs that I must have seen many times as a child do not correspond with my own memories; in spite of their tangible reality, they were unable to create any impressions earlier than those formed by memory (even though they existed before it).”

Herve Guibert

Everyone knows of a moment that holds a special significance to them which at the same time means virtually nothing to anyone else. This project documents these moments for Christopher Seaton.

These are images of the walls that have shared these moments with one person. They are especially poignant and / or important to the photographer, yet have been photographed in an almost cold and emotionless manner.

The project forms a hand-crafted, one-off book containing the Fuji FP-100C Instant images.
